Struggles with body image, relationships, control, self-esteem and many other issues are wrapped up in eating disorders. Through counseling, you will be able to stay motivated to recover and regain the joy you once had in your life.
Many of my clients experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger for years after you experience a traumatic event. The good news is that with targeted therapy, you can overcome these symptoms and navigate through the process of grief and healing.
Depression, and anxiety are common disorders that my clients experience. I have additional training to teach recovery skills to those struggling with managing difficult moods and emotions.
Arguments, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness resulting from relationships are something I work with clients on. We review and understand the individual's attachment style to help them to be able to decrease arguments, receive support from their partner, and feel safer in their connection with their partner.
Do you struggle with food choices, body image, bingeing, purging, or restriction? Together, we can work on meal structures and meal plans to help you reach your goals of eating disorder recovery. We will also work on learning intuitive eating and how to love your body at any size. The goal is to help you to enjoy food again and nourish your body so it continues to function well..
Are you having difficulty with weight cycling and feeling unhappy with your current weight? We can discuss the key to unlocking the ability to enjoy food and not go on another diet that leaves you feeling dissatisfied and eventually causes weight gain in the future.
If you were diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and need to talk about what to eat now, you've come to the right place! We can also talk about how to navigate feeding yourself if you have an eating disorder in addition to PCOS.
Are you having issues with eating almost every food? Do you have an eating disorder as well as Irritable Bowl Syndrome? We can discuss some adjustments to what you're currently eating to manage IBS symptoms.
